Welcome to the San Francisco High School of the Arts Intensive Arts Bootcamp Program (IABP)! We’re excited to offer an immersive and enriching experience for students looking to explore the arts and unleash their creativity, with a special emphasis on Chinese Dance.

Our program is designed to help students develop new skills, build self-confidence, and explore new mediums in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our experienced and passionate instructors are dedicated to providing a transformative experience for all students, regardless of their skill level.

Chinese Dance is the centerpiece of our program, providing students with the opportunity to learn traditional and ethnic dance forms, such as the handkerchief dance, umbrella dance, fan dance, or mongolian dance, Xinjiang dance. Students will learn the fundamental techniques and movements of Chinese Dance, as well as the cultural context and history behind each dance form.

In addition to Chinese Dance, we also provide short term art training programs, including drawing, painting and mixed media. Through a variety of hands-on projects, students will have the opportunity to discover their unique talents and express themselves through their artwork.

The program takes place in beautiful San Francisco, a city known for its vibrant arts scene and diverse cultural offerings. Students will have the opportunity to explore the city and draw inspiration from its rich history and contemporary art scene.

Tuition: $28 per student per hour for group class, $60 per student per hour for private class
