The Institute’s annual fund is the money we raise on an ongoing basis throughout the year, which is used to cover the costs associated with a HSArts’ day-to-day operations. Donations to this fund provide direct support to our operating budget and is essential to our everyday function as a school. Your donations may be used to support our arts or academics programs, improving technology and other resources.
Young Artist Dream Scholarship Fund
The money you donate to this fund will go to scholarships for students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. By reducing or eliminating the cost of tuition for the scholarship recipients, we can help underserved students attain the best artistic and academic education they can get. We believe in making the High School of the Arts accessible to a wide and diverse group of people, as it strengthens every student’s learning experience to be part of such a community.
Dream School Fund
This fund will be used to support our ‘Dream School’ project which involves the addition of a third floor to our building. Highlighted goals this project include: adding six new classrooms, three new dance studios, three new music studios, five new music practice rooms, one new art studio, and display windows to showcase student art. The plan will also include building an underground garage to reduce parking constraints, as well as a rooftop garden and a recess area for the children to play in. We will also add solar panels to begin moving us towards energy efficiency.
By contributing to this fund, you will be part of expanding our facility to make it a better place for all of our students.
