Exciting Plans for CNY Celebration

Our student councils are excitedly preparing for the upcoming CNY celebration, next Friday. The high school student council is planning to sell several drink and dessert items, so make sure to bring some extra cash to enjoy the delectable treats. For our middle school student council, they hope to entertain with several games and activities. We encourage you to check them out and support our student councils in their extracurricular efforts!

As our semester comes to a close and the holiday season is upon us, the Music and Musical Theatre departments here at HSArts are delighted to invite you to a Holiday and Winter Showcase. This night of performances will feature holiday songs hand selected by our musical theatre students, two songs from our Group Vocal class, piano and flute performances, and a full performance of Ebenezer’s Christmas Carol. We are so proud of all of the hard work that our students have done this semester preparing for this night of music, singing, and acting, and we are delighted to extend an invitation to you! Please join us at 6 PM on December 15th!

Musical Theatre Fall Showcase recap

October 20, 2022

Last Friday, we welcomed family and friends to our Musical Theatre Fall Showcase. After several lovely songs by individual singers and the group vocal class, our students performed the show play, The Con by Tracy Wells. Many of the students are first time performers who’ve never performed on stage, under bright lights, in front of an audience, and every student performed very admirably! Here are a few photos taken from the event for us to enjoy:

Musical Theatre Fall Showcase is Friday!

HSArts’ Musical Theatre program is excited to invite you to our Fall Showcase! This night of performance will feature a one-act performance of a new play, The Con by Tracy Wells, and vocal selections from Singin’ in the Rain and Aquarius. The Con features an ensemble cast of characters attending a comic book convention. All is not as it seems as the audience discovers a devious plot to steal an expensive comic book is revealed right before our eyes!

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an annual tradition at HSArts. A holiday centered around family, togetherness, and appreciation, the HSArts community welcomes everyone for an evening of stories and riddles, music and performances, and of course mooncakes.
