Dress up Days
Students (and staff) are encouraged to dress up in the theme of each day during Spirit Week. Themes are as follows:

  1. Monday: School Colors day (purple/gold)
  2. Tuesday: Comfy day
  3. Wednesday: Twin day
  4. Thursday: Formal day
  5. Friday: Sports day

*note: All clothing worn for dress up days should still follow general clothing guidelines. Students choosing not to participate in the dress up days are required to wear their uniforms.

School Mural
In our ongoing efforts to beautify our school and community, our student body will create a large mural on the east wall outside of school under the guidance of our visual arts teachers. Students will use time from select classes throughout the week to create this huge work of art. We can’t wait to see what they’ve designed!

Field Day
Our Spirit Week ends on Friday with a Field Day in Golden Gate Park. Students will have the opportunity to engage in fun-filled games and team building activities, and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch and ice cream social!

Club Fair
Next Tuesday during lunch (11:30am – 12:00pm), our student clubs will hold a club fair to introduce their clubs and recruit interested students to join in the fun. Student Ambassadors

Student Life News
September 29, 2022

On Monday, the Admissions Office announced the formation of the Ambassador Club. Ambassadors are students who represent HSArts at various on and off campus events. They share information and personal perspectives about HSArts with interested students and their families.

A presentation on Monday introduced important public speaking and leadership skills that will serve our students as ambassadors and will also aid them as they move forward in their academic and professional endeavors. Additionally, participation in a school’s Ambassador Club looks great on any student’s résumé! HSArts students who are interested in becoming ambassadors may contact Dr. Fung for more information.
