The summer arts program provides professional training in drawing, sketching, painting and design, as well as hands-on experience with a wide range of art media. This is the perfect opportunity for young artists to take their technique and skills to the next level.

Students will gain a solid understanding of 3D forms, and the skills necessary for creating 3D forms on paper.

During the one-week intensive course, students with little or no prior training will quickly master basic drawing skills. Meanwhile, students with foundational skills in the drawing will further refine their artistry through projects in realism. The class will also include outdoor drawing activities in order to further improve students’ artistic observational skills.

In painting class, students will learn basic color theory and apply this knowledge directly in their own artworks. Beginning students will gain fundamental skills in 3D painting, and advanced students will further enhance their realistic painting techniques. Regardless of skill level, classes will allow the students to efficiently improve their skills within a short amount of time.
